In this video (http://youtu.be/bjvCZvq6mnI) Ansel Adams discusses the culmination of the FIAT LUX photographic book which went into production in January 1967--the very month that California Governor Ronald Reagan presided at the UC Regents meeting at which UC President Clark Kerr was fired. "The reactionary people took over and started cutting the most vital parts out," said Adams. "It wasn't that they just would reduce expenditures, but they reduced morale."

"Take Five" is a series of filmed interviews by Kwame Braun and Catherine Cole with UC faculty, staff, alumni, and students as well as members of the general public in relation to the Fiat Lux photographic collection: http://onthesamepage.berkeley.edu/fl-remix/detail/take-five.
